ALTA has expertly crafted the pod so the tilt function of your steering column is maintained without binding or damaging the dashboard. Simple adjustment of the steering column will allow drivers of all sizes to enjoy a clear view of their new high performance gauges.

The ALTA Performance™ R56 style gauge pod simply attaches to the back of the tachometer utilizing existing mounting points.  Your tachometer, dashboard, and steering column are not damaged in anyway! This is completely reversible at any time!

This package includes a Boost Pressure Gauge, MAP / Boost adapter, Pod, wiring, mounting hardware and instructions. The gauge is a full 60 mm, electronic and has a warning alarm (visual and audible) as well as a peak function to show the max pressure achieved. These can be adjusted or reset at anytime.

These allows you the driver to keep your eyes on the road (ortrack) as necessary then review the recent events at the push of abutton. Also, these gauges are truly divorced from the engine. No oil,boost, etc. passes the firewall. Preventing the possibilities of leaksthat could damage your interior, cause a fire or worse! The large 60mm(2.36") dial is easy to read because of the clear markings and wide270deg. sweep. The gauges are backlit in white during the day and amberat night. The backlighting, needle color and bezel all perfectly matchthe OEM lighting and colors in the MINI. No other gauge combo doesthis! An illusion of a factory appearance combined with a variety ofinformation is an ideal upgrade to your MINI.

    Peak: Anytime you wish to recall the max value for the system you are monitoring a quick poke of the command button and that value is displayed. Want to clear it? Simply press it and hold to relieve it.

    Alarm: Similar to the Peak you can program the gauge to alert both visually and or audibly that the max value you have chosen has been reached or exceeded. This is a NICE feature!
